Please meet our good friend , and one who we consider family, Andy Peters .
Andy is akin to some of the first settlers in the allanwater area born and raised right here on the banks of the Allanwater River,he is a north American indigenous Ojibway native ;hunter ,trapper ,fisherman and wilderness guide as good as they come.
If you have the good fortune to find his services available as your guide in this neck of the north woods count yourself very fortunate.
For just a couple hundred $ for a full day Andy will give you a trip you will never forget down river on the Allanwater out of our camp.
We call this the forbidden river and it is off limits to our general customers as the twists ,turns rapids ,drops and waterfalls make this area taboo to all us greenhorns.... At one point in this adventure Andy will actually navigate with you backwards down a very technical rapids
Andy grew up learning the magic of transversing these seemingly unnavigable river rapids with outbord moter from his father Dan .
Dan was born and raised in a wall tent in the early 40's on the south end of the big lake;Kawaweogama, and is a local LEGEND!
Let me know if you want a reall slice of Canada and i will try to arrange one of these guy,s to guide you!
