over the years of flying the Allanwaters I have many times found myself wishing i was on the ground in the right position to take an awesome photo depicting an image that would convey the beauty of float flying in this remote wilderness environment. To present an image that might show all who aspire to explore these environs either through the magic of flight or the adventure in open boat that would hopefully capture at best a sliver of the magic that has chained my heart to this beautiful wilderness.. as an avid photographer since age 11 i was aware of the lighting and angles available on nearly every landing and takeoff..
one special day a gentleman and his son arrived for a 5 day trip whose expertise was in the advertising industry.
He had the killer cam so i arranged for some photo's that i had visualized for years.
with the help of walkie talkies aircraft radio .my brother Tom and his Boy's Noha,Jon and Zacharia.
the appropriate time of day and a few boats we were able to orchestrate this sunset picture under the Allanwater. rail bridge.
