The Sudbury Aviation floatplane base is located in Azilda Ontario, just east of the city of Sudbury and five hours north of Toronto or three hours east of Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. Our outpost flying service has been in operation since the mid forties and under the same management for over twenty years. We have practiced "Catch and Consume, Catch and Release" conservation on our lakes for twenty years. The fishing today is now as good as it was in the time before these lakes where first visited by the white man. We offer Bass, Pike, and Walleye and trout fishing that is as good as anywhere in the north. Sudbury Aviation operates Dehavilland Beaver aircraft and Cessna 185 aircraft. Visit us online at: www.sudburyaviation.on.ca.
What separates us apart from the rest are three features.
1. Access to wonderful Speckled Trout (Brook Trout) and Lake Trout fishing.
2. Access to modern, well equipped and maintained outpost camps.
3. The opportunity for many to spend less time driving to get here.
